Saratoga Shooting Sports is a home-based, part-time FFL business located in Saratoga County, NY that is dedicated to helping the local community enjoy and exercise their second amendment rights. We believe strongly in personal freedom and the importance of our constitutional rights.

Pistol Permit Course

Saratoga Shooting Sports is pleased to be able to provide a NYS approved 18 hour concealed carry pistol permit training course offered in both Middle Grove and Galway, NY for $250 per student. Classes are taught on a single weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) from 8AM to 5PM. See available dates below.

Details:

  1. When: A full weekend, 8AM - 5PM. (Please arrive between 7:45 and 8:00)
  2. Where: Middle Grove Firehouse or Galway Fish & Game Club
  3. Food: Please bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. There's a Stewarts right down the road.

Discounts:

Receive $25 off for every person you refer to this class. Fill a class and we'll pay you!
We also offer a 10% ($25) discount to the following groups:
  1. First responders
  2. Active duty military
  3. Current members of Fish House Fish & Game Club
  4. Current members of Galway Fish & Game Club
All discounts will be applied on the final payment.

Refund Policy:

  1. As long as you provide us with at least 24 hours notice, you can apply your deposit to a later class. (Maximum two times.)
  2. Alternately, we will refund your deposit only if and when the class you originally signed up for becomes full.

Additional Notes:

  1. All course materials will be provided for you, including ammo. There is no additional expense beyond the tuition fee.
  2. This class is geared towards beginners. No previous firearms experience is necessary. The 2nd Amendment is for everyone.
  3. Please let us know in the comments field of the registration payment form if you are interested in being added to the waitlist for an earlier class.
  4. You must take this course before you submit your concealed carry pistol permit application. The course is valid for two years in Saratoga County.
  5. If you live in a county other than Saratoga, we will reach out to your county's licensing division on your behalf to inquire whether they will accept our course. Currently we are also approved for Dutchess, Franklin, Fulton, Rensselaer, Schenectady and Warren counties.
